Job summary

ISS Bolton is seeking an experienced Technical Services Manager to lead an Electrical and Mechanical team across two large manufacturing buildings. You’ll ensure safe, compliant and efficient delivery of all engineering and maintenance services while collaborating with ISS and client stakeholders.

You will lead daily operations, drive PPM performance, participate in high‑voltage shutdowns, and progress toward Senior Authorised Person duties where possible.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years in Technical Services, Building Services or Facilities Management.
• Experience leading engineering or maintenance teams.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical building services.
• Good knowledge of statutory compliance and maintenance legislation.
• Experience in FM environment maintenance delivery.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• LVAP/HVAP or Senior Authorised Person experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Electrical, Mechanical and Fabric Engineers.
• Oversee daily engineering and maintenance operations on site.
• Ensure Planned Preventative Maintenance and reactive tasks meet SLAs.
• Drive statutory compliance and maintain PPM performance.
• Support high-voltage shutdowns and critical electrical work.
• Act as or progress toward Senior Authorised Person responsibilities.
• Manage contractors and safe working practices.
• Monitor service delivery and identify improvements.
• Produce technical reports and performance updates.
• Manage performance reviews and team development.
• Support quotations, minor works and project delivery.
