University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is inviting applications for a Senior Hand Therapist (Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist) in the outpatient hand therapy team at Queen's Hospital, Burton. The post is part-time and Band 6, developed to meet increased referrals, with a focus on acute hand injuries and post-surgical rehabilitation.

You will work with adults and children, receive supervision and training, and contribute to service development and audits.

Qualifications

• Experience working in hand therapy.
• Experience supervising others.
• Band 5 experience across acute hospital settings.
• Experience treating children.

Responsabilités

• Manage your own caseload, planning and prioritising patient care.
• Provide specialist assessment and treatment for a range of hand conditions.
• Work collaboratively with the hand therapy and multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide support to Band 5 therapists, students and therapy assistants.
• Contribute to training and service development within the hand therapy service.
