Jo Holdsworth Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Group Finance Manager for Morley, Leeds. The role oversees financial reporting, cash flow and planning across two regional operations, reporting to the Finance Director.

You will manage a small finance team, drive commercial insight, and work closely with senior management to influence financial performance, governance and efficiency across sites.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACCA or CIMA.
• Strong experience in management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow.
• Experience in housebuilding or construction advantageous.
• Understanding of project accounting, including work in progress and cost-to-complete reporting.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to interpret financial information for business decisions.
• Confident with senior management and challenging performance.
• Experience managing and developing finance teams.
• Excellent communication, organisation and analytical skills.
• Proactive and ownership mindset across two regions.
• Experience COINS accounting software would be advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Overseeing monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and controls.
• Managing cash flow forecasting, budgeting and financial planning across both regions.
• Monitoring site and project performance, including valuations, WIP and cost-to-complete.
• Providing financial insight to regional directors and operational teams.
• Reviewing performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying risks.
• Leading and developing the finance team.
• Supporting statutory reporting, year-end, audit and compliance.
• Ensuring consistency in financial reporting across regions.
• Identifying opportunities to improve financial systems and efficiency.
