Job summary
Statkraft is seeking a Senior Grid Engineer – Power Systems & Compliance in the UK to lead grid integration and compliance across BESS, wind and solar projects. You will drive power system studies, model validation and regulatory submissions while coordinating with project teams, consultants and network operators.
A strong background in Grid Code and G99 is essential, with leadership across multi-disciplinary teams.
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, with power systems focus.
- Experience with Grid Code, G99 and network compliance in GB context.
- Ability to lead studies, submissions and compliance activities.
- Experience coordinating with consultants, OEMs and network operators.
Responsibilities
- Lead Grid Code and G99 compliance activities and deliverables.
- Manage power system studies, modelling and commissioning.
- Coordinate submissions with NESO, DNOs and Transmission Owners.
- Define plant control and integration requirements including BESS and grid-forming controls.
- Provide technical leadership and risk management throughout project delivery.
