Job summary

Eclipse Power in Milton Keynes is seeking a Principal Consultant to expand its Advisory team, focusing on electricity transmission and distribution planning, operation, and regulatory aspects. The role is client-facing, with responsibility for delivering expert advisory services, growing the advisory offering, mentoring a team, and coordinating with Eclipse Power Networks, Solutions, and Optimise units.

Candidates should have design, engineering or network planning background, knowledge of grid

Qualifications

• Experience in electricity transmission and distribution planning, operation, and regulatory aspects.
• Knowledge of grid connections at distribution and transmission.
• Experience mentoring/leading a team.
• Strong English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advisory to customers – technical, commercial, regulatory.
• Project manage external engineering, regulatory projects in Eclipse Power Solutions.
• Deliver and grow Advisory service offering to the market.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team of consultants and analysts.
• Support customers through Eclipse Power network adoption for EPN or EPOP.
