Job summary

Unity Software Limited in the UK is seeking a graphics engineer to diagnose and fix performance issues for developers using Unity. You’ll work on the graphics pipeline and runtime stack, collaborate with platform engineers, and gain deep platform-specific knowledge.

The role requires strong C++ skills, multithreaded systems experience, GPU debugging and shader knowledge; C# and Unity experience are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Strong C++ skills across multithreaded systems.
• Hands-on experience with GPU debugging and profiling tools such as RenderDoc.
• Experience with C# and shader writing.
• Knowledge of platform-level graphics work is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose graphics and performance issues for developers building with Unity.
• Debug and profile GPU workloads to isolate root causes in the runtime stack.
• Implement and maintain fixes with a focus on clean, maintainable design.
• Support the team’s work integrating console hardware into Unity across platforms.
• Build platform-specific knowledge on the job with support from platform engineers.
