Job summary

Hodge Hill Family Practice in East Birmingham is seeking a Salaried General Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team. You will manage a varied caseload and provide patient-centred care to a diverse community.

The role emphasises teamwork, clinical autonomy, and professional development within the Coventry and Rugby GP Alliance network; usual days are Monday and Tuesday, with support from experienced colleagues.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Full GMC registration.
• Certification of Completion of Training (JCPTGP/PMETB) for GP.
• Inclusion on Performer List is preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
• MRCGP or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Undertake a broad range of GP duties in primary care, including clinics, home visits, and telephone consultations.
• Make professional, autonomous clinical decisions within org policies.
• Assess and manage undifferentiated health needs and develop care plans.
• Deliver health promotion, counselling and education.
• Maintain accurate consultation records and contribute to audits.

Education
