Forsyth Barnes is partnering with an award-winning payments data organisation to hire a Senior Software Developer (Golang) for a hybrid role in London. You will write high-quality Golang/Java code, implement tests, and contribute to data-heavy, low-latency systems built on Kafka and Kubernetes.

The role involves container-based architectures, APIs, streaming data platforms and NoSQL/in-memory stores. You will work with stakeholders across data science, software, DevOps and security to balance

Qualifications

• Proficient in Golang with production-grade code and tests.
• Experience with high-throughput data processing using Kafka.
• Familiar with Kubernetes and container-based deployments.
• Strong SQL skills and data modelling.
• Experience in DevOps workflows and CI/CD.
