Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Strong commercial experience with Golang.
• Experience building distributed systems and scalable backend services.
• Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar).
• Strong understanding of Docker and containerisation.
• Experience working with AWS and cloud-based architectures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and engineering fundamentals.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in fintech, payments, banking, or other regulated industries.
• Exposure to frontend technologies such as React, Flutter, SwiftUI, or Kotlin.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services using Golang.
• Develop scalable, low-latency, high-throughput applications.
• Build and maintain event-driven systems and microservices.
• Work with AWS and cloud-native technologies.
• Develop and maintain containerised applications using Docker.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across product and engineering.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
• Promote engineering best practices, testing, and code quality.
