Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support the implementation, operation and optimization of GXO’s enterprise network infrastructure globally. You’ll help improve reliability, reduce MTTR and back key projects across our global network.

The role is full-time and based in Northampton with Monday–Friday 09:00–17:00 hours and occasional travel to the Northampton office. A company car or car allowance, generous leave and a pension are part of the package.

Qualifications

Proven experience in network engineering or a similar technical infrastructure role.
Strong understanding of enterprise networking technologies: routing, switching, WAN, VPN, WLAN.
SD-WAN experience is highly desirable; Fortinet SD-WAN expertise a plus.
Experience with outsourced/managed services and vendors such as IBM; ownership of incidents.

Responsibilities

Engage with deployment teams to support planning, coordination, and execution of NetMod rollouts.
Provide clear communication of incidents and service updates to stakeholders at all levels.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver changes, deployments, and operations smoothly.
Coordinate daily with IBM Operations teams to drive incident resolution and follow-up actions.
Act as primary liaison between internal teams and external vendors for effective service delivery.
Identify operational challenges and contribute to process improvements.
