Job summary

Dalcour Maclaren is seeking a Senior GIS Specialist to join our Geomatics team in Bicester. You will produce GIS plans for land ownership, access, and utility routing, while advising clients using data from Land Registry, Ordnance Survey, and utilities.

You will lead data sourcing, ensure data quality, and implement mobile/web GIS solutions, with responsibility for guiding junior staff and delivering high-standard outputs.

Qualifications

• Degree or masters in GIS or closely related subject with a large GIS component.
• Practical GIS experience, ideally in utilities/energy sectors.
• Strong knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS software for data capture, management and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate GIS plans covering land ownership, access, utility routing and legal plans.
• Analyse data from Land Registry, Ordnance Survey, Environment Agency, and utilities to advise clients.
• Use latest technology to update online mapping systems and mobile apps.
• Lead data sourcing and licensing to maximise value from datasets.
• Manage projects, guide juniors, and ensure high quality deliverables.
