Job summary
Stantec is seeking experienced GIS Managers to lead geospatial solutions across a range of complex projects in the UK, spanning hydropower, transmission, nuclear, and minerals. You will partner with clients, project managers and engineers to ensure high-quality GIS outcomes that enhance decision-making and reduce risk.
You will provide technical leadership, oversee GIS data management and governance, and promote best practices across multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications
- Experience delivering GIS within infrastructure, engineering, environmental or energy sectors.
- Strong expertise with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online and Enterprise GIS.
- Experience in spatial analysis, geoprocessing and geospatial data management.
- Knowledge of coordinate systems and GIS governance best practice.
- Experience developing web GIS applications and mapping products.
Responsibilities
- Lead the successful delivery of GIS and geospatial services for major infrastructure and energy projects.
- Help clients make informed decisions through spatial data, mapping and analytics.
- Provide technical leadership to GIS specialists and multidisciplinary teams.
- Deliver innovative geospatial solutions that improve project performance and add client value.
- Build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.
