Job summary

DEPT® is seeking a Senior Copywriter to join the global Copy Team. You’ll craft content for digital channels and brand campaigns, delivering on-brand messaging that drives clicks, engagement, and awareness.

You will edit German content and contribute ideas for award-winning campaigns and pitches. You should excel at day-to-day high-quality work and developing standout concepts, while collaborating closely with designers, strategists, account managers, and clients.

Qualifications

• Copywriter with agency/brand experience.
• Multi-channel digital copywriting and brand development experience.
• Experience in translation, transcreation and proofreading.
• Ability to write compelling sales-driven German marketing copy.
• Collaborative with designers, strategists, account managers and clients.
• Experience managing large campaigns with multiple deliverables at speed.
• Understanding of consistency across user journeys.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts and copy for digital campaigns for a leading international brand.
• Write content for banners, newsletters, websites, social media campaigns, and localized adaptations.
• Apply strong conceptual thinking to craft engaging, effective messaging.
• Proofread all German-language content for flawless spelling, grammar, and brand alignment.
• Present ideas to colleagues and clients, showing strategic and creative thinking.
• Adapt global campaigns for the German market in a culturally authentic way.
• Conduct competitive and trend research to inspire new directions.
• Lead and participate in creative brainstorms and meetings.
• Demonstrate leadership and collaboration in all interactions.
