East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust's Ipswich Hospital seeks a substantive Consultant in Older People’s Medicine to join our forward-thinking team. We offer flexible options and are rolling out Epic EPR in 2025 to transform patient care.
The post covers a complex ward of 14 inpatients with a junior team, daily consultant-led rounds and a FAB/Frality service for comprehensive geriatric assessment.
Responsibilities
- Ward rounds led by a consultant on a daily basis.
- Provide clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary ward team.
- Participate in regular governance meetings and family meetings.
- Support complex geriatric assessment and frailty services.
