Qualifications

• Inpatient care, frailty work and on-call acute care are key elements of the role.
• Teaching and training junior medical staff is part of the duties.
• Develop and maintain clinical guidelines and care pathways with the team.

Responsibilities

• Provide a Consultant-led service with the highest standard of care.
• Develop care pathways and clinical guidelines with the multi-professional team.
• Lead and support junior medical staff and ensure appraisal.
• Promote collaboration with wards, OPD and the ED to improve pathways.
