UWE Bristol is seeking a Senior Teaching Technician: Geotechnical Engineering to join the School of Engineering. You will manage laboratories, operate and maintain equipment, and provide hands-on training to support practical classes, student projects, and research.

The role is based on the Frenchay Campus, full-time 37 hours per week, with opportunities for CPD and career development. Salary is Grade F (£34,610-£38,784) and includes generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Role requires degree level qualification in the relevant subject area.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
• Experience in a technical environment and ability to deliver demonstrations to students.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical teaching support in Test Laboratories and engineering labs.
• Operate and maintain equipment used in demonstrations and classes.
• Deliver demonstrations to students and support practical sessions.
• Assist with student projects and research activities.
