UWE Bristol is seeking a Senior Teaching Technician: Geotechnical Engineering to join the School of Engineering. You will manage specialist laboratories, operate and maintain equipment, and provide hands-on training to support practical classes, student projects and research.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant subject area and evidence of continuing professional development, with a focus on mentoring the next generation of engineers.

Qualifications

• This role requires a degree level qualification in a relevant subject area and CPD evidence.
• Experience in a technical environment with teaching demonstrations will be beneficial.
• Ability to support practical classes, student projects and research activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage specialist laboratories and operate/maintain equipment.
• Provide hands-on training to support practical classes and projects.
• Assist with curriculum development and demonstrations for engineering education.
