Job summary

Geowynd, part of the Ocean Infinity group, is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our growing data analytics and advice team. You will support interpretation of geotechnical data and the design of fixed-bottom and floating foundations for offshore wind turbines, contributing from feasibility to operations.

Based in Southampton or Italy, you will collaborate with geologists, geophysicists and client teams, lead laboratory test schedules, and help develop state-of-the-art analysis

Qualifications

• PhD or Master's degree in geotechnical engineering or similar.
• Excellent understanding of soil mechanics.
• Demonstrable experience with geotechnical interpretation, analysis and design.
• Innovative and delivery-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Draft robust geotechnical interpretive reports with statistical parameter selection for foundation design.
• Develop forward-thinking geotechnical analysis methods and tools.
• Lead offshore geotechnical campaigns and data interpretation.
• Coordinate with wider project collaborators to ensure optimized designs.
