Job summary

Arup is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our growing offshore wind ground engineering team in London. You will contribute to interpreting ground investigation data, supporting geotechnical design for fixed and floating offshore wind foundations, and delivering robust, sustainable solutions for clients.

You will work in a multidisciplinary environment, collaborating with geotechnics, structural engineering, offshore engineering and numerical modelling experts, with opportunities to develop

Qualifications

• Experience in geotechnical design for offshore wind foundations (fixed or floating).
• Ability to interpret ground investigations and laboratory results.
• Knowledge of offshore wind design codes and soil-structure interaction.
• Experience with numerical modelling tools such as LS-DYNA or PLAXIS.

Responsibilities

• Interpret ground investigation data and contribute to geotechnical design for offshore wind foundations.
• Support design for fixed and floating offshore wind structures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across geotechnics, structural, offshore engineering and modelling.
