Job summary

Arup in London is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our offshore wind ground engineering team. You will contribute to ground investigation interpretation and geotechnical design for fixed and floating foundations, collaborating with multidisciplinary experts to deliver robust, sustainable solutions.

You will work client-facing, develop your technical skills, and help advance Arup’s leadership in offshore wind ground engineering while supporting innovation and rigorous design processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in geotechnical design for fixed and/or floating offshore wind foundations.
• Ability to interpret ground investigations and laboratory test results.
• Familiarity with numerical modelling and calibration against data.
• Postgraduate qualification in geotechnical engineering advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Interpretation of ground investigation data and support geotechnical design for offshore wind foundations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across geotechnics, structural, offshore engineering, and sustainability.
• Develop and apply innovative, robust solutions for clients in the offshore wind sector.
• Engage in client-facing activities and contribute to Arup’s growth in offshore wind.
