Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our Leeds team. You will lead the delivery of complex geotechnical projects, develop ground models, and supervise multidisciplinary work packages while maintaining high standards of quality and client satisfaction.

You will mentor junior engineers, contribute to bids and foster innovation in 3D ground modelling and data-driven solutions across our geotechnical business.

Qualifications

• Strong technical understanding of geotechnical engineering, engineering geology, ground risk management and site investigation.
• Proven experience delivering geotechnical assessments, designs and project management in consultancy, contractor or client settings.
• Sound knowledge of soil and rock mechanics and geotechnical design to industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of technically complex geotechnical and geological projects with focus on quality, programme and commercial performance.
• Develop and review ground models, geotechnical interpretation and design parameters for major infrastructure and development schemes.
• Mentor junior engineers and engineering geologists while supporting business development and bids.
