Job summary

Civic Earth is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer/Engineering Geologist to join the Leeds team. You will lead technical design, supervise site investigations, and contribute to bids while mentoring junior staff.

Responsibilities include client engagement, profitability monitoring, and ongoing professional development towards Chartered status. The role supports a hybrid working pattern with emphasis on delivering projects to quality and schedule.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Civil/Geotechnical engineering, or similar.
• Chartered or working towards Chartership with the ICE, GeolSoc or IES.
• Strong relevant design experience in a commercial environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor project teams from Graduate to Senior Engineer.
• Lead on multiple projects with focus on quality and timescales, client engagement, and resource coordination.
• Develop graduates and engineers and identify training or equipment needs.
