Job summary

Ridge & Partners Llp seeks a Chartered/Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our offices in Bristol, Birmingham or Manchester. You will support planning and engineering teams with geotechnical investigations, assessments and design across the UK and internationally, with three in-office days per week under our Agile working policy.

You will manage ground investigations, slope stability, earthworks and reporting, liaising with clients and disciplines to deliver robust geotechnical solutions.

Qualifications

• Project management experience in design and build environments.
• Excellent written and spoken communication and client liaison skills.
• Civil engineering or geology degree with postgraduate geotechnical qualification; Chartered status.
• Good knowledge of EC7 and UK design codes.
• Experience with Rocscience and Geo5 geotechnical software.
• Experience in drawing work using ARC GIS and CAD.
• Willingness to travel UK and overseas; valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Draft Ground Investigation Reports (geotechnical elements).
• Proof of concept and feasibility checks.
• Earthworks and slope stability analysis.
• ULS and SLS analyses for foundations.
• Draft Geotechnical Design Reports and feedback to CD622.
