Ridge and Partners LLP in the UK seeks an experienced Chartered/Senior Geotechnical Engineer to support planning and engineering teams across Bristol, Birmingham or Manchester. You will specify, manage and interpret geotechnical investigations and design solutions.

The role involves working on UK and international projects, with Agile working and three office days per week. You will communicate with clients, draft reports, and contribute to design development.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil engineering or geology with a postgraduate geotechnical qualification.
• Chartered status as either a civil engineer or geologist.
• Experience in geotechnical investigations, geotechnical assessments, and design.
• Proven project management track record in design and build environments.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills.
• Good understanding of EC7 and UK design codes.
• Willingness to travel within UK and overseas; valid UK driving licence.

Responsabilités

• Drafting Ground Investigation Reports (geotechnical elements).
• ULS and SLS analysis for foundations.
• Earthworks design and embankment design.
• Drafting Geotechnical Design Reports and Geotechnical Feedback Reports to CD622).
• Liaise with clients and manage work-winning delivery.
