Job summary

Ridge and Partners LLP seeks an experienced Chartered/Senior Geotechnical Engineer for Bristol, Birmingham or Manchester. You will lead investigations, assessments and the design of geotechnical solutions, supporting civil and structural teams on UK and international projects.

You will hold a civil engineering or geology degree with a postgraduate geotechnical qualification, chartered status, EC7 knowledge, and experience with Rocscience, Geo5, ARC GIS and CAD.

Qualifications

• Chartered status as a civil engineer or geologist.
• Degree in civil engineering or geology with postgraduate geotechnical qualification.
• Experience in geotechnical investigations, assessments and design.
• Knowledge of EC7 and UK design codes.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and reviewing Ground Investigation Reports (geotechnical elements).
• Performing ULS and SLS analyses for foundations.
• Carrying out slope stability and earthworks analyses.
• Preparing Geotechnical Design Reports and feedback reports.
• Liaising with clients and multi-disciplinary teams.
