Job summary

Carrington West is seeking a Senior/Associate Geotechnical Engineer for our London team. You will lead geotechnical design work, collaborate with structural and civil teams, and nurture client relationships across projects ranging from foundations to deep basements.

The role emphasises independent delivery, mentoring, and commercial awareness. You will have MEng or higher and ideally Chartered Engineer status, with strong report writing, budgeting, and proposal experience.

Qualifications

• Qualified to MEng level or above and CE role preferred.
• Chartered Engineer status or equivalent recognised.

Responsibilities

• Draft reports, specifications and testing regimes.
• Prepare site investigations and proposals.
• Manage projects from inception, budgeting and resourcing to invoicing.
• Supervise junior engineers and communicate with clients.
