Job summary

Bridgewater Consultancy UK Ltd is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join a growing team and support a UK project pipeline. You will manage geotechnical design, ground investigations and reporting, while coordinating with clients and stakeholders across varied developments.

The role offers opportunities to mentor junior engineers, develop technical capability, and take responsibility for project delivery within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of geotechnical site investigation, analysis and reporting
• Strong understanding of soil behaviour and ground conditions
• Ability to produce technical reports and calculations
• Experience liaising with clients and project stakeholders
• Commercially aware with good organisational skills

Responsibilities

• Design shallow and deep foundations and bearing-capacity calculations
• Plan and manage ground investigations and intrusive works
• Prepare high-quality geotechnical reports and calculations
• Coordinate with clients and regulatory bodies
• Mentor junior engineers and support business development
• Supervise site investigations and logging of exploratory holes
• Manage projects across residential, commercial and public-sector developments
