Job summary

Bridgewater Consultancy UK Ltd is recruiting an experienced Senior Geo-Environmental Consultant to join its expanding environmental and engineering practice across the UK. The role involves managing site investigations, interpreting environmental data, and delivering detailed reports to support project delivery.

The role combines office-based reporting and project management with regular fieldwork across the UK, including travel across the Midlands and South West.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' UK geo-environmental consultancy experience.
• Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering Geology or Geoscience.
• Experience supervising site investigations and interpreting environmental data.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver geo-environmental projects including site investigation, sampling, risk assessment and remediation support.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, laboratories and internal colleagues; coordinate site works and reporting.
• Prepare Phase 1 desk studies and Phase 2 geo-environmental reports; review laboratory data and update conceptual site models.
• Provide clear, practical recommendations and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
• Mentor junior team members and support project planning and commercial delivery.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to high technical standards.
