Job summary

Arup is seeking a senior geotechnical engineer to lead complex ground engineering work across a broad portfolio. You will drive projects from early site investigation through to design and construction support, coordinating design teams and client contacts across diverse sites.

You will bring deep expertise in geotechnical design, ground modelling and risk management, with a collaborative, client-focused mindset and a drive to develop Arup’s ground engineering capability across the Midlands,

Qualifications

• Strong background in geotechnical design and ground investigation delivery.
• Experience leading desktop studies, ground modelling and risk assessment.
• Proven ability to manage multi-project packages and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical design for projects across multiple sectors.
• Direct design teams from initial site investigation through to construction support.
• Act as principal client contact and coordinate with partners and contractors.
