Klohn Crippen Berger Ltd. in York, England seeks a Sr. Geotechnical/Civil Engineer with at least 10 years of relevant work experience to join our expanding team.

You will work on projects related to design and assessment of water and tailings dams, mine infrastructure, tailings facilities, and other geotechnical engineering tasks through the project lifecycle, including client interaction and reporting.

Qualifications

• Registered or eligible to register as a Chartered Engineer in the UK.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil and/or Geotechnical Engineering/Soil Mechanics.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong desire to broaden engineering and project management skills.

Responsabilités

• Work on large dam project portfolio with practical geotechnical design for dams, embankments and slopes.
• Lead projects including development, review and approvals of technical specs, drawings, design reports and tender packages for tailing dams and mine facilities.
• Provide input and prepare conceptual detailed designs, studies and condition assessments.
• Collaborate with clients from concept through construction, commissioning and operations.
• Build strong client relationships and contribute to business development.
