You will work on a diverse portfolio from initial investigations through to reporting and remediation, mentoring junior engineers and supporting project delivery in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in geo-environmental engineering or contaminated land.
• Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Experience with ground investigations and contaminated land assessment.
• Strong technical report-writing skills.
• Good communication and project management abilities.
• Proactive approach; able to work independently and in a team.
• Full UK driving licence desirable.

Responsibilities

• Managing and delivering geo-environmental and ground investigations.
• Undertaking Phase 1 and Phase 2 contaminated land assessments.
• Soil and groundwater sampling and interpretation.
• Assessing contamination and environmental risks.
• Preparing high-quality factual and interpretive reports.
• Providing remediation and risk assessment advice.
• Liaising with clients, contractors and other consultants.
• Supporting project management and commercial delivery.
• Mentoring and supporting junior engineers.
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high technical standard.
