Job summary

JP Engineering is seeking an experienced Senior Geoenvironmental Consultant to join our team in Manchester/ Midlands, delivering geoenvironmental and contaminated land projects across the UK.

You will manage a varied portfolio, plan ground investigations, produce and review PRA/GI/remediation reports, manage budgets and client relationships, and mentor junior colleagues.

The role offers £40,000-£45,000 plus annual bonus, 25 days’ holiday and a pension scheme, with strong career progression.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in environmental, geology or engineering.
• 6+ years’ experience within geoenvironmental consultancy.
• Strong contaminated land and ground investigation experience.
• Confident technical report writing skills.
• Strong communication and client management abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied portfolio of geoenvironmental and contaminated land projects.
• Planning and overseeing ground investigations.
• Producing and reviewing PRA, GI, remediation and verification reports.
• Managing project budgets, subcontractors and programmes.
• Liaising directly with clients and project stakeholders.
• Supporting and mentoring junior consultants.
• Helping deliver high-quality projects from investigation through to completion.
