Job summary

Stantec’s Ground Assessment Team is seeking a Senior Geo-environmental Consultant to join our expanding group in the UK. You will be at the forefront of major infrastructure programmes and AMP8 water investments, supporting regional clients such as Southern Water, Thames Water, United Utilities, Yorkshire Water and Northumbrian Water.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or related Earth Sciences.
• Chartered member of a relevant professional institution (CGeol, CEnv, CIWEM).
• Experience in land quality evaluation and contaminated site management in a UK consulting environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical management and input to projects through all stages of the lifecycle.
• Characterisation of materials and management of contaminated sites.
• Support design teams and contracting partners with risk assessment and remediation strategy.
