Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Geo-environmental Consultant to join our Ground Assessment Team in the UK. You will lead technical input across lifecycle stages for major infrastructure programmes and support design teams with contaminated site management and materials characterisation.

You will bring a strong UK-focused background, chartered status, and a proactive, collaborative approach to client relationships and project delivery. Competitive salary and agile working arrangements offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science or related Earth Sciences.
• Chartered membership in a relevant professional institution (e.g., GSL/CEnv/CIWEM).
• Strong track record in land quality evaluation and contaminated site management in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical management and input across project lifecycles.
• Characterise materials and manage contaminated sites for infrastructure projects.
• Deliver risk assessments and remediation strategies to ensure sustainability and resilience.
• Develop client relationships and support business development within UK markets.
