Job summary

Access Garage Doors Ltd is seeking a highly experienced General Manager to lead daily operations and drive growth across the business. You will manage a team of around 20 staff, shape strategy, and deliver improved profitability while maintaining high customer service standards.

Working closely with the Managing Director, you will implement business objectives, optimise processes and strengthen supplier relationships to support expansion in the South East region.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a General Manager or senior management role.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Commercially minded with a track record of improving performance.
• Experience developing and implementing growth strategies.
• Experience managing budgets and supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of Capital Garage Doors.
• Lead and support a team of ~20 employees.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
• Set and monitor sales targets; align team to objectives.
• Monitor performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Conduct performance reviews and support staff development.
• Review processes and systems for improvements and efficiency.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate terms.
• Oversee stock control, pricing and margins.
• Collaborate with Managing Director on growth initiatives.
