Job summary

Access Garage Doors Ltd is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead daily operations, manage a team of around 20 staff and drive growth across the business. The role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership, and a track record of delivering improved performance and profitability.

Working closely with the Managing Director, you will shape business strategy, optimise supplier relationships and pricing, and ensure excellent customer service across all departments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of Capital Garage Doors.
• Lead and support a team of ~20 employees.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
• Set and monitor sales targets and ensure objective achievement.
• Monitor performance and take corrective actions where needed.
• Set clear objectives and conduct regular performance reviews.
• Support staff to ensure efficient operations and high output.
• Review processes to identify improvements and drive efficiency.
• Manage supplier relationships, pricing, and margins.
• Oversee stock control and purchasing activities.
• Collaborate with MD to implement growth initiatives.
