Job summary

Chase Taylor Recruitment are working on behalf of an established and growing business within the fenestration and home improvement sector. They seek an experienced General Manager to take responsibility for operational and commercial performance, overseeing the conservatory and extension operation from sale through to completion.

The role offers scope to broaden responsibilities across the business, improve profitability, lead people, and drive customer service and efficiency in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in General Management or senior operational management.
• Experience leading multi-project residential construction/ renovations.
• Strong commercial judgement with focus on margins and cost control.
• History of building effective teams and delivering results.

Responsibilities

• Take day-to-day management and operational performance of the conservatory and extension operation.
• Oversee delivery of projects ensuring profitability and quality.
• Lead, motivate and manage employees, contractors and partners.
• Own commercial performance including budgets and cost control.
• Identify improvements to processes and drive efficiency.
• Monitor progress against targets and make sound decisions.
• Maintain high standards of customer service throughout projects.
