Homes for Students is the UK's largest independent provider of Student Accommodation. We are recruiting a Senior General Manager for The Greenbased in Bradford, overseeing sales, maintenance and housekeeping to deliver outstanding service.

You will lead a diverse team, embedding our values, and ensure resources and support are available for peak operations, especially during September intake. You will coordinate with the wider business, promoting strong communication, and guiding your team

Qualifications

• Experience managing a team in a similar role or environment.
• Strong ability to present and analyse information accurately.
• Excellent organisational skills and teamwork with leadership ability.
• Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Office software.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership to deliver exceptional customer service through sales, maintenance, and housekeeping.
• Collaborate with the wider business to embed values within your team and ensure team members have what they need to perform well.
• Own the check-in, check-out and room turnaround process, especially during September intake.
• Communicate effectively to support new intake and resolve customer or operational issues with the wider team.
• Develop you into life with Homes for Students with support from the area and regional teams.

Job description

Homes for Students is the UK's largest independent provider of Student Accommodation.

We currently have a vacancy for a Senior GeneralManager at The Greenbased in Bradford,working 40 hours a week, 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will provide strong leadership to ensure we deliver an exceptional customer service through our sales, maintenance, and housekeeping provision. You will work closely with the wider business, to support the embedding of our values within your team and ensure that everyone has what they require to do their role to the best of their ability.

The most exciting time of year is September, when the successful candidate will take ownership of the check in, check out and room turnaround process. You will need to have excellent communication skills, as you help support our new intake and manage any customer related or operational issues.

You will have the support of the wider business and an exceptional area and regional team as you navigate this journey. This role involves a wide variety of skillset, but we will be with you every step of the way as we develop you into life with Homes for Students.

Person Specification

• Previous experience of managing a team within a similar role or environment
• The ability to present and analyse information in an accurate and appropriate format
• Excellent organisation skills
• Ability to work in a team, lead, motivate and inspire
• Excellent IT skills including experience of Microsoft office software
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements is desirable but not essential
