Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Playwright Automation Engineer to lead quality engineering for AI platforms, including GenAI and RAG, ensuring reliability, safety, and performance across AI-powered systems.

The role combines deep Playwright automation, API testing, and CI/CD with hands-on validation of LLMs, prompts, and autonomous workflows, working with AI engineers and product teams to raise quality across complex projects.

Qualifications

• Expertise in UI, API, E2E, and automation framework development.
• Experience with REST APIs, Postman, and API automation.
• Hands-on knowledge of DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Docker, and Git.
• Proficiency in Python for AI testing and automation.
• AI/GenAI Testing Experience (Mandatory): Testing of LLMs, Copilots, RAG, and Agentic AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Automate UI, API, Integration, E2E, and Regression testing.
• Validate AI/GenAI applications for accuracy and safety.
• Assess hallucinations, prompt injection, and security risks.
• Evaluate RAG retrieval quality and citation integrity.
• Test agent workflows, tool usage, and memory.
• Create automated prompt testing and AI evaluation suites.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.
• Perform performance, reliability, and observability testing.
• Collaborate with AI Engineers, Product Owners, and Architects.
