Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in the UK seeks a Quality Engineer to drive AI-assisted testing and automation across enterprise projects. You will embed quality across the development lifecycle and work with cross-functional teams.

The role covers AI/ML frameworks, data validation, SQL/BigQuery, and modern QA technology such as AI-assisted test design. You will mentor teams and contribute to scalable QA solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in manual API and exploratory testing.
• Familiar with AI-assisted testing and automation.
• Strong Python programming to support test frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD and test automation tools.
• Knowledge of SQL/BigQuery and data validation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI workflows and models for performance and scalability.
• Build solutions using Lang Chain/Claude for agent-based and RAG systems.
• Apply prompt engineering techniques to improve EOTR outputs.
• Stay updated on AI/ML advancements and best practices.
• Optimise regression suites and improve test coverage through risk-based and data-driven approaches.
• Manage end-to-end defect lifecycle, including reporting, prioritisation, and resolution tracking using JIRA.
• Test all the data products with domain understanding that satisfies real-time, near real-time and batch consumers.
• Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
• Hands-on experience with AI concepts such as Vertex AI, Azure OpenAI, and Cloud Vision.
• Strong programming skills in Python to support PyTest framework.
• Familiar with self-healing automation concepts and smart test frameworks.
• Experience with SQL, BigQuery, DBT, Kafka or DB validation.
