Job summary

Cambridge GaN Devices Ltd. seeks an experienced Senior Analog IC Design Engineer to join the R&D Engineering team in Cambridge. You will develop GaN power IC solutions, leveraging advanced analog design techniques and EDA tools, contributing to a green, energy‑efficient product portfolio.

The role is based at our Cambridge office and lab in the UK, with some travel expectations. You will work closely with the design, test, and IP teams to push GaN device R&D forward in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering or science (required).
• Strong knowledge of analog IC design and GaN device concepts.
• Experience with EDA flow: schematic capture, analog sims, layout, DRC/LVS/PEX/PLS.
• Experience with electrical test and characterization of analog ICs.
• Strong project management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced startup environment and delivering high‑quality results.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout of GaN power ICs using EDA tools (schematic capture, analog simulations, layout, PEX, PLS).
• Develop testing solutions for GaN Power ICs on wafer and packaged devices.
• Detail‑oriented documentation, chip evaluation and debugging.
