Job summary

Nexperia in the United Kingdom seeks a Systems Engineer for NeXteam (R&D) to identify and define PMIC and signal‑chain solutions, translating application needs into differentiated IC specifications while partnering with GaN, SiC and MOS teams to architect future power systems.

You will act as the core technical bridge between external customers and internal analog/digital design and validation teams, conducting feasibility studies to maximise technical differentiation and align product

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
10+ years in semiconductor systems engineering or product definition.
Strong understanding of power electronics and analog/mixed-signal ICs.
Ability to translate complex system needs into hardware specs.

Responsibilities

R&D innovation to identify breakthrough PMIC concepts for automotive, data center, and AI infrastructure.
Collaborate with GaN, SiC and MOS teams to define future power architectures.
Translate customer needs into PRDs and technical IC specifications.
Serve as the technical bridge between customers and internal design/validation teams.
Conduct feasibility studies on performance, cost, and risk to maximize differentiation.
