Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corp. in the UK is seeking a Field Applications Engineer (Analog & Power) to support customers in the UK and Ireland, focusing on design-in to design-win throughout pre- and post-design activities.

The role covers power conversion, PMICs, DC/DC, GaN & MOSFETs, and related system optimization. You will lead technical engagements, perform design reviews, and provide guidance across product divisions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (MSEE preferred).
• Strong experience in Analog and Power Electronics (customer-facing or design role).

Responsibilities

• Influence customer analog and power architecture development, design reviews, root-cause analysis, and hands-on debug.
• Drive new product evaluations and competitive positioning for Renesas analog and power portfolio.
• Support system-level design integration across Analog, Power, Processor, and Connectivity subsystems.
• Provide direct technical guidance to customers to accelerate designs from concept to production revenue.
• Deliver field feedback to product divisions to influence roadmap and features.
• Collaborate with sales to achieve business targets and develop trainings and seminars.
