Job summary

Aztec Group in the United Kingdom is looking for a capable accounting professional to carry out day-to-day accounting of fund structures under the direction of the Financial Reporting Manager. You will bookkeep, prepare statutory financial statements, liaise with auditors, and mentor junior staff, while using Excel and eFront in a robust control environment.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified with a professional qualification (ACCA/ACA or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience in preparing statutory financial statements.

Responsibilities

• Bookkeep a complex range of funds, management companies and associated fund structures
• Prepare periodic bank reconciliations and provide supporting documentation
• Complete accounting matters for a portfolio of fund structures, including investor reports and statutory financial statements
• Deal with routine audit queries and liaise with clients and intermediaries
• Mentor junior staff under supervision
• Maintain records on eFront and Excel schedules
• Ensure timely payment of invoices
