Job summary

Aztec Group, based in the United Kingdom, is seeking a funds accountant to carry out routine day-to-day bookkeeping of fund structures under a Financial Reporting Manager. The role focuses on accurate reporting, reconciliation, and timely investor statements.

You will assist in tax returns, audits, and regulatory reporting, leveraging Yardi and eFront with strong Excel skills. The position offers hybrid working and opportunities to progress ACCA/ACA credentials.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance
• Currently studying ACCA or ACA and ideally part-qualified
• Between 2 - 4 years relevant experience, exposure to Real Assets industry and knowledge of Propco is advantageous
• An understanding and exposure to Lux GAAP and IFRS is beneficial
• Computer literacy skills are essential
• Exposure to regulatory reporting is advantageous (BCL, CSSF reporting)

Responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects of the bookkeeping of funds, management companies and associated fund structures
• Assist with all aspects of accounting matters, including the preparation, reconciliation and proofing of investor reports, statutory financial statements, and ad hoc requests
• Assist with the completion of routine audit queries
• Prepare periodic bank reconciliations and provide or source supporting documentation evidencing transactions
• Maintain accurate records on Yardi, eFront and Microsoft Excel working paper schedules for all aspects of bookkeeping
• Assist in the preparation and reconciliation of periodic direct and indirect tax returns
