Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Software Engineer III to design, implement, and secure scalable software within the Digital Document Services team. You will contribute across the SDLC, delivering production-ready code and robust architectures while leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve efficiency.

You will collaborate with a diverse, agile team to build trusted technology products supporting core business objectives and continuously push for improvements in code quality and system

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and proficient applied experience
• Practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Proficiency in coding in one or more programming languages
• Experience with large-scale environments using modern languages and databases
• Hands-on with server-side Java, XML/JSON, J2EE, Spring and related design techniques
• Experience developing web apps and REST APIs with relational or non-relational DBs
• Knowledge of Git, CI tools, and automated testing frameworks
• Working knowledge of Linux, shells, and apps like Tomcat/Spring Boot
• Experience with Angular/TypeScript/React and UI testing tools
• Experience with cloud-native platforms (AWS/Kubernetes)

Responsibilities

• Execute software solutions across design, development, and troubleshooting to build production-ready applications
• Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms with system integration
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure standards
• Analyze large data sets to inform technical decisions and visualization needs
• Identify data patterns to drive improvements in code quality and architecture
• Contribute to engineering communities and explore new technologies
• Foster a diverse, inclusive team culture through collaboration
• Leverage enterprise AI coding tools to improve code quality, speed, and productivity with peer review
