Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer III to join the Corporate Technology's Regulatory Risk Team in Glasgow. You will design and deliver trusted, secure, scalable technology products within an agile environment.

You will produce production-ready code across Java, React, Python and SQL, apply SDLC best practices, and leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve quality and speed while ensuring security and resilience.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, React, Python, and SQL.
• Experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Experience in a large corporate environment with modern programming languages and queries.
• Experience using enterprise AI-assisted development tools with evaluation and security considerations.
• Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, and secure workflows.
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development and troubleshooting with non-routine approaches.
• Creates secure, high-quality production code and maintains algorithms with systems.
• Uses AI coding assist tools to improve code quality, speed and productivity with peer review.
• Applies SDLC tools to improve automation and value.
• Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensures constraints are met.
• Gathers and analyzes data to develop visuals and reporting for continuous improvement.
• Identify hidden data patterns and drive improvements to coding hygiene and architecture.
