Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Software Engineer III to join an Agile team within AMDP.

You will design, build, and maintain state-of-the-art software products, delivering secure, scalable solutions with a strong focus on full stack development and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Terraform). You will contribute across the SDLC, drive automation, mentor junior engineers, and champion secure coding practices while leveraging AI-assisted programming tools to improve quality and speed.

Qualifications

• Production-oriented software engineering experience in large-scale environments.
• Full stack development across front-end and back-end.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong AWS cloud services experience and infrastructure automation with Terraform.
• Able to mentor junior engineers and lead technical initiatives.
• Experience with CI/CD, application resiliency, and security best practices.
• Familiarity with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools and safe usage.

Responsibilities

• Define, design, build, and maintain scalable software solutions with a focus on security and stability.
• Develop high-quality production code across stack and provide guidance to junior engineers.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and optimize for performance and reliability.
• Automate and improve SDLC through CI/CD pipelines and IaC workflows.
