Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior software engineer to design, build and ship features end-to-end across web, mobile and backend. You will own meaningful product components and improve reliability while mentoring juniors and collaborating with PMs and designers.

You’ll work with PHP or Go on the backend and TypeScript across the stack, applying strong software design, testing and operational practices. AI tooling experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong skills in at least one backend language: PHP or Go.
• High level of competency in TypeScript.
• Comfortable owning features from idea to production with minimal hand-holding.
• Solid grounding in software design, testing and operational excellence.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with PMs and designers on ambiguous problems.
• Pragmatic, customer-obsessed and a strong written communicator.
• Comfortable with AI tooling.
