Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer III to design and deliver secure, scalable tech products within Asset Management. You will collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams to solve complex problems and drive improvements, contributing to architecture, code quality, and rapid delivery.

You will work within enterprise AI-enabled development and modern SDLC practices, ensuring security and resiliency while advancing production-grade software in a large corporate environment.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and advanced applied experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java.
• Experience with data distribution and consumption using event, Kafka streaming, API (GraphQL and REST), and bulk methods.
• Practical experience in public cloud solutions, AWS, with knowledge of mesh data distribution using Snowflake and Starburst compute engines.
• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with modern programming languages and database querying languages.
• Experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools for coding, test creation, troubleshooting, or documentation.
• Ability to critically evaluate, validate, and refine AI-generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security expectations.
• Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
